Wow, that was pretty cool. 
We've just returned from spending 10 lovely days in Hawaii visiting family and friends. While there we celebrated John's 40th birthday; witnessed Shea hitting numerous "first" 
milestones; experienced only a few hours of rain the entire trip; and managed to avoid any major sunburns or trips to the emergency room. All in all, it was a great success! I'm hoping to dedicate this
next week's worth of blog posts to detailing the chronology of our trip, complete with photos. As soon as I finish sorting the laundry and watching Olympic highlights, that is. Mahalo for your patience; I'm still on island time, brah.
